Beloved Pets

Please forgive me for putting a post here that is personal in nature. Our family lost two pets in two days last week. Napoleon, an 18 year old sun conure and Isis, a 14 year old deaf and blind dog.

Rest in peace you two. We really miss you.

As a younger dog, Isis didn’t realize you’re supposed to use a brush with oil paints. Instead, she ate them and painted herself.

Although looking like a puppy, this photo from August is only one of the many times Isis would lay down during our walks due to her arthritis.
